Vegan Air fried Donuts
There’s something magical about biting into a fresh, warm donut—especially when it’s homemade andair-fried! If you're anything like me, you love a good sweet treat but don’t always love the mess (or guilt) that comes with deep frying. That’s why I’m so excited to share this super easy air-fried donut recipe with you! Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend baking project or just craving a quick dessert that feels like a hug, these donuts check all the boxes. Light, fluffy, and ready in minutes—no oil splatters required!
1 cup Self rising flour
1/2 cup Thick Vegan yogurt
2 tsp Baking powder
2 tbsp melted vegan butter
Glaze:
1 cup Powdered sugar
2 tbsp Water
First, add the flour, yogurt, baking powder, and melted butter to a large bowl. Combine the ingredients to make a thick, sticky dough. Lightly flour the surface and transfer the dough on it and then knead it gently until smooth. Do not overwork it. Next, divide the dough into 8 parts. Roll out each portion into a long line and then connect both sides to form a circle. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and then place the 4 donuts in the basket at a time. (I just air fried mine in my oven) Air fry at 400 F for 6 to 8 minutes and then allow the donuts to cool. As they cook, you can prepare the glaze by adding the powdered sugar and water to a bowl and then mixing it well until you get a thick smooth glaze. Take donuts and dip in the glaze. And enjoy.
